This work is inspired from research about the contemporary craft process "Hyperbolic Crochet," the ancient Japanese fiber technique "Shibori," and the hidden structures that shape matter and space. The objective behind the Shibori integration is to fuse ancient architectural motifs that are fractal by design with natural landscape formations such as the plants, rocks and root growth formations. These explorations are based off of contemporary science's disclosure of the cosmic code. Fractals, rhizomes and crystals all share the authoritative principles underlying inner autonomy, which regulate growth and form.
