With the Shibori pieces, the objective is to fuse ancient architectural motifs that are fractal by design with natural landscape formations, such as the plants, rocks and root growth
formations. These explorations are based off of contemporary
sciences' disclosure of the cosmic code. Fractals, rhizomes and crystals all share the authoritative principles underlying inner autonomy, which regulate growth and form.
After creating sculpture and teaching it for the past fifteen years, I have found an affinity to an evolving art practice influenced by exploring ecology and the environment.
